I have checked the apple website and cant figure how to install the apps from their website on my iphone. They have some cool apps and it would be a great help if some body could help me out.

You are referring to the jailbreak apps
you can hack the phone with ziphone

if you have an earlier version with 1.1.1 you can go to
www.jailbreakme.com and it will install from there,
make sure u are on wifi when u visit the site.

Nope. Apple apps can only be downloaded to an iPhone or iTouch.

I recently upgraded to the 1st gen Apple iPhone (not 3G) and am wondering if you can actually have songs as a ringtone? If so how would you go about it? Do you have to purchase them from itunes?
FYI – this is an unlocked phone on tmobile’s network.

I am looking to get a Verizon enV Touch and I wasn’t sure if it was app friendly meaning that it could be used with iPhone apps or just that it can be used with a wide variety of Verizon apps. Please help me find the answer to this!

It uses the Media Center (formally known as Get it Now) that is on most Verizon phones. No app store and of course can’t use iPhone apps.

I am planning on buying the Apple iPhone 8gb, the 3G, but the thing is, i don’t want the plan, and just the phone. How much will this cost me, and where can i buy it for a reasonable price besides ebay? also, how much is warranty?

Are you able to buy it in the Apple Store without a contract? I don’t mean unlocked, just without a contract. It is for a Christmas present for a person with an older IPhone with a contract with ATT already. How much is it?

You can not buy an iPhone 3G without a contract at all. AT&T says they plan on introducing a contract free version but have not as yet.
