How to put Apple iPhone apps without deleting the other apps that were already there?

If you are talking about the original apps that come with the phone, then none will be deleted. If you are going to buy new apps, then just go to the app store that is on the first ‘page’ of the iPhone and buy your apps from there. That way, if you already have apps on your iPhone, you don’t have to sync anything.

Beware, however. You will not be able to sync your apps on your laptop without deleting them. The best thing to do is to ‘re-buy’ them all. That will not cost you any money IF you buy them again from the account you bought them from in the first case.

I am planning on buying the Apple iPhone 8gb, the 3G, but the thing is, i don’t want the plan, and just the phone. How much will this cost me, and where can i buy it for a reasonable price besides ebay? also, how much is warranty?

Should I get the 8 gb iphone or the 16gb iPhone? Because I don’t think I need the 16gb but than agian the apps might take up a lot of memory. How much memory will the apps take on the iPhone? Do you think 1,000 songs, 5 videos, a couple hundred pics, and some apps will fit in 8gb? So Should I get 16 gb or 8 gb? Thanks.

I just got my Apple iPhone, its actually for my husband, I already have a plan with At&t, however I will I go about to use the same phone number, to the new iphone? Cause obviously you can not change the sim card. I went on the apple website and it says just to go on itunes(which we have) and from there it will do it, is that true?

the Apple site says… use iTunes.. but it forgot to tell you to use the LATEST iTunes (version 7.4.2)

without it and a functioning USB 2.0 connection on the computer…. you can’t activate!

I like the look of the new Apple iPhone but I’m stuck with a company vodafone SIM.

Can it be unlocked? and will it work on vodafone?

Not officaially in the UK but if you buy one in Germany france or HOng kong they MUST be sold unlocked.

~DO NOT try to jailbreak to add this you have 75% change of killing the phone and 100% chance of voiding the warranty.. use a SIM overlay (google it) if you want an easy option about $50..

i purchased a few free apps from the apple store, but for some reasons they are all grayed out, hence cannot sync them to my iphone.
fyi, jailbreak iphone, and the itunes i am using now used to sync for my ipod (no longer use now).
then i tried at my friend’s pc (who also helped me to jailbreak iphone), it worked!
please explain why this happens?

I have a nano. I tried downloading apps but itunes said the website had problem or something like that. Does anyone else face the same problem or am i the only one?

Apps at the iTunes Store are either made for the iPhone/Touch, or made for other models. The app should say what type of iPod it is compatible with. If it’s for the iPhone, it will only work woth the iPhone or the Touch, not the Nano or other models.
