Where can you get a new iphone without a contract. How much would it cost without a phone contract?

You can check Kijiji or Craigslist and depending on where you live there should be a lot of results. Generally 32GB Iphone 3gs are around 700 or 800 and 600 if ur lucky and 16gb 3gs are 500-600 range. it is better since you are saving over 50$ a month wihtout the contract. i got mine on craigslist. it is easy there i got mine for 600 iphone 3gs you need to BARGAIN!

it can do everything iPhone 3G S can. Everything they show in the commercial the new iPhone 3G S can do, the Mytouch can do and it gets upgraded every few months. It has apps as well and has wi fi. If you have a laptop and 3g service on mytouch, you can tether the mytouch to the laptop and get internet anywhere. (Tethering is when you connect the MyTouch 3G to your laptop, open a file, and you use the phones 3G as a modem)

MyTouch 3G is faster then the iPhone in opening and closing apps and also searching the web. You can customize shell so it has your style. And you can vid things and upload it directly to youtube and take pics and upload them straight to facebook or myspace

the warranty should be valid, although you could encounter difficulty enforcing it, since your contract is with the seller.paying buy credit card may offer some protection as well as providing proof of purchase .check with apple they may require proof of purchase or supply in case of upgrade from the origonal owner,whose contract will be with o2, so it could get messy

Learn about jailbreaking and then start with Cydia link below. Be careful not to upgrade above 3.0 until they figure it out – unless they have already. In fact, never upgrade without studying the current jailbreak status first.

Forget about buying official apps and then just dragging them to your iPhone like it were a flash drive.

For sharing other files with your PC or Mac, I use FileMagic – but there are many file sharing apps.

If you’re looking for actual apps to buy, then I would suggest http://www.appfairy.com. It has some cool articles and they have basic information on about 20,000 apps. They say they’re the best iPhone apps and I’ve noticed that none of the apps on the site are bad apps. The site is super easy to use and isn’t cluttered like so many of the other iPhone app sites are. They break down the apps nicely and have a couple pretty neat sections.

In the past year or so, there have been hundreds and hundreds of products or apps to build apps that are starting to enter the market. If you’re not a 100% savvy programmer, this may be the way to go if you want to build an app.

my friend just bought fake chinese iphone 3G for $150, it just looks like an Iphone, and it has the apple logo and everything, but close inspection, you could tell it’s a clone, because, it doesn’t have the apple softwares and it’s made off cheap plastic and stuff.
so what do you do?
I mean only after you open the damn thing, and charge the battery, can you tell, but not just by looking at cover package.

It’s buyer beware if you don’t buy from an authorized Apple dealer. Take that fake phone & smash it into oblivion.
